Agra, once the capital of India under the Mughal Empire sits on the banks of the river Yamuna in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, home to a grieving emperor’s romantic tribute The Taj Mahal, its glistening marble domes reflected in the beautifully landscaped pools, the world’s greatest romantic poem to love.
