This makes it the best place to view the Taj Mahal, so be sure to have your camera ready to snap countless selfies.
Day 4 – Taj Mahal: Today will be etched in your mind forever as you will wake up early to see the Taj Mahal at dawn. See the sun’s morning rays glisten on this iconic landmark, which is widely considered to be the most beautiful building in the world. See for yourself how Taj Mahal’s stunning architecture, garden design, painting, and calligraphy are an embodiment of Mughal art. Here you will also learn how this epic site was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan to enshrine the mortal remains of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. At the time, specialists were brought in from as far away as Europe to produce the exquisite marble screens and inlay work, which were made with thousands of semiprecious stones.
Then jewels are sliced paper thin and embedded in the marble with such precision that the joints are invisible to the naked eye.
After a splendid morning at the landmark, you will head back to the hotel for breakfast, before visiting the iconic Agra Fort to discover how the massive landmark was originally started by Emperor Akbar in 1565. You will also learn that it was his son, Jahangir, and grandson, Shah Jahan, who later made valuable additions to it. You will also visit Itmad ud Daula , this tomb was built in 1622 for Ghiyas Beg, father of Empress Noor-Jahan, the wife of Emperor Jahangir. It is beautifully built in white marble, mosaic and lattice. Sometimes also called ‘Baby Taj’, it is small, intimate and has a gentle serenity. Finally, you will return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

It is divided into four main sections, each with its own courtyard. On the way back, there will be a quick stop to view the elegant Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds.
