Day 2 Colombo – Negombo
Upon arrival, travel from the airport to Negombo, where you will check-in to Heritance Negombo. Overnight at Heritance Negombo-Deluxe Double Bed & Breakfast basis
Day 3 Negombo – Habarana
Today you are going to take the road to Habarana and check in at Cinnamon Lodge for a three-night stay. Habarana is situated in the middle of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. To walk with these gentle giants, visit the Millennium Elephant Base.

Day 4 Polonnaruwa
Post breakfast, visit Polonnaruwa, famous for its archaeological gems. Visit the ruins of the Royal Palace before admiring the majestic Buddha statues of Gal Vihara, the Audience Hall, the Lotus Bath and the statue of King Parakramabahu. Visit Minneriya National Park this afternoon and embark on a jeep safari.

Day 5 Sigiriya
Today you will visit one of the most emblematic sights in Sri Lanka – Sigiriya. The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of exceptional elegance, 200 meters from the scrub jungle. The moat, the rampart and the extensive gardens, including the renowned water gardens, surround the base of the rock. Visit the world-famous frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 6 Millennium Elephant Foundation - Peradeniya Botanical Gardens
Take a trip to Dambulla to explore the magnificent cave temple complex. There are five different caves, each filled with beautiful statues and works of art; some of the country's most significant and revered religious art can be found here. You will also have the opportunity to visit the traditional Matale spice garden, where you will learn more about the incredible variety of spices that are grown here and enjoyed around the world.

Day 7 Kandy
Travel to Kandy to explore the beautiful city. Drive around Kandy Lake, before visiting a vibrant bazaar, with a chance to visit the arts and crafts centre. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic this evening and take part in a cultural Sri Lankan dance show.

Day 8 Kandy - Hatton
Take one of the most scenic train journeys in the world as you ride from Kandy to Hatton, in the heart of Sri Lanka's vibrant tea country. Enjoy spectacular scenery as you drive through the jungle and steep mountain trails. Find out more about making Ceylon tea on a factory tour, where you will also be able to pick up some tea souvenirs!

Day 9 Hatton – Yala
Continue your adventure in Sri Lanka and head to the popular Yala National Park. Encircled by mountain ranges, the park's landscape is a mixture of grassland, shrub jungle and wild teak plantations. The park is famous for its huge herd of elephants, several species of deer, wild boar and the terrifying wild buffalo. Lucky tourists may have a glimpse of an elusive leopard.

Day 10 Yala
Experience today's morning and evening safari. This is one of the best locations in the world to be able to spot a leopard. Many animals you can see include sloth bears, water buffalo and more than 200 bird species.

Day 11 Galle Fort
Your end destination on this adventure in Sri Lanka will be the unforgettable Galle Fort.
