Living Programs - Unique insights into Indochina life

Living Vietnam Tour 10 days from £1865
Living Cambodia Tour 10 days from £1579
Living Laos Tour 10 days from £2095
Living Laos and Cambodia Tour 15 days from £2639

With our ‘Living’ programs we like to give our clients a closer look at everyday life in the various destinations we cover. We still include the main tourist sights and
attractions but also create space and time in our carefully crafted itineraries to get in touch with the local people and really get to know what life is like in Vietnam, Laos
and Cambodia.

Our tours promote sustainable tourism and local eco-friendly initiatives, and are aimed at offering our clients a unique experience that will last a lifetime.
When we for example leave our hotel early in the morning to sample a delicious bowl of pho noodle soup, or when we spend the night at a local family’s
home, then that is because they add a lot of value for our travellers and are a great way of experiencing everything Indochina has to offer and really show
what make the different countries here so special and interesting.

We call these programs ‘Living’ because you are not just a visitor looking in from the outside but you get to interact with the locals and experience a real slice of
their daily life.

We created different Living Programs for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, and various combination programs showcasing the cultural differences and similarities between these different countries, they can be completely tailor-made to suit your demands and expectations.

Some of our 'Living Highlights' include:
• Dining at the house of a local family. You learn how they prepare their daily meals and gain an authentic insight into their life and society. We have carefully selected several local families that are interested in sharing their stories with overseas visitors and opening up their house for a fun evening of exchanging experiences and laughter.
• Visit off-the-beaten-path sights and attractions and take the road less travelled in a responsible and sustainable way. Explore regions such as Ha Giang or the Central Highlands in Vietnam,Pakse and the Boloven Plateau in Laos or Ratanakiri and Battambang Provinces in Cambodia.
• Spend the night at a local village and share the home and hospitality of our generous hosts. Along the way you get a true insight into the countryside lifestyle you would rarely get when staying in ahotel.
• Use alternative means of getting around like cyclos, tuk-tuks, electrical bikes, scooters.
• Talk and interact with local people to learn more about cooking, farming, handicrafts, religion, culture and history.
• Participate in community projects in local schools, orphanages, training centers, restaurants, ex cetera and support sustainable tourism solutions that empower the local population.
