Day 1 Ubud
Depart from your hotel to see the performance of Barong and Kris dance at Batubulan village. Visit the surrounding art villages; Celuk with its intricate work of silver and gold , Mas for wood carving, Ubud for traditional and modern painting. Visit the Petulu village where thousands of herons return to their resident ponds at sunset. Stay overnight in Ubud (D)
Day 2 Ubud
Day at leisure to further explore Ubud. (B,D)
Day 3 Ubud - Candidasa
Drive east of Ubud, to see the 11th century Goa Gajah (Elephant cave), before continuing to Mt Agung Volcano, visit the mother temple of Bali Besakih’. Visit the Bali Aga village of Tenganan. Arrive late afternoon at the beach resort of Candidasa for one night stay. (B,D)
Day 4 Candidasa - Lovina.
Drive to Lovina, pass through Bat Cave Temple and Kusamaba village. Mt Batur can be seen dramatically from the rim of the crater, surrounded by the Batur lake. Overnight in Lovina. (B,D)
Day 5 Lovina
Early Morning dolphin tour. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B,D)
Day 6 Lovina
Visit the Gitgit waterfalls and then onto Lake Bratan to see the Ulun Danu Temple, a Hindu/Buddhist temple dedicated to the goddess of the waters. Enjoy the sunset over the mystical 17th century temple on the rock at Tanah Lot. Drop off at your chosen hotel. (B)
