Canada holidays
Canada is a major tourist destination, and also one of the world's wealthiest countries. It is renowned worldwide for its vast, untouched landscape and its unique culture.
Banff National Park is Canada'a first national park, also one of the largest in Canada, if not the world. The most common wildlife seen in the park are Bighorn Sheep, Deer, Elk, and Caribou.
A must-see is Niagara Falls which is a major tourist attraction in Ontario as well as a huge supplier of hydroelectric energy for the province.
Vancouver is frequently ranked as one of the "best cities to live in" and is certainly a beautiful destination to visit. You can go on a hiking or walking nature tour of ancient rainforests with their giant trees, visit alpine meadows and lakes or stroll along colourful seaside tide pools. Try bird watching or wildlife viewing in the area's diverse ecosystems. A mild climate means year round tour opportunities including winter surfing, storm watching, mountain skiing and fall salmon viewing into December. You can also join a whale watching or grizzly bear tour.
Toronto is "the city within a park", with miles and miles of parkland following the streams and rivers that flow through the city. It has some excellent beaches in the east end that offer typical beach activities such as volleyball, bike/rollerblading paths and a boardwalk along the water. In addition, there are ample opportunities for shopping.
