Of all the sights evocative of the splendour and decadence of old Shanghai, none is singularly more impressive than the Bund. And we’ll drive across the Nanpu Bridge to a Special Economic Zone - Pudong New Area, where some of the China’s tallest buildings stand. A modern Wall Street-style financial district completed with world-class convention centre have been built alongside expansive avenues, plush shopping malls and grandiose apartments. After that, we’ll visit the elegant Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar. In the evening, we’ll be led to the trendiest place in town: Xintiandi Nightclub Area. Redecorated and gentrified, this area now sports immaculately reconstructed buildings melded with a modern twist. Swanky bars and discos burst with revellers and posh restaurants dish up cuisine as beautiful as the venue itself.
